What tools do I need to install stone tile?
We recommend that you have the following tools:
- Notched Trowel (size of notched teeth will depend on the type of adhesive used)
- Gum Rubber Float or Green Epoxy Float
- Level
- Metal Straight Edge
- Chalk Line
- Masking Tape
- Spacers
- Large specialty sponge (available wherever stone tile is sold)
- Clean bucket
For larger projects, you will need these additional tools:
- Grinder or belt sander
- Wet Saw
- Continuous Rim Diamond Blade(s) designed for cutting stone
- Diamond hole saw using a wet drill process
